Fenomena Pernikahan Sedarah: Analisis Dinamika Keluarga dan Faktor Sosial

Abstract

This study examines a case of incestuous marriage involving a premarital pregnancy and its impact on family dynamics. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing a case study method that included in-depth interviews and observation. The findings indicate that the situation was influenced by factors such as kinship ties, family rejection, economic conditions, limited education, domestic conflict, and social pressure. The consequences affected not only the couple but also the child, particularly regarding health and well-being. From a pastoral counseling perspective, this issue requires a holistic approach incorporating the functions of healing, sustaining, guiding, reconciling, and nurturing. The church is expected to go beyond moral judgment and instead provide guidance, acceptance, education, and spiritual support to the family. Thus, pastoral counseling can serve as a means to help the family navigate conflict, restore relationships, and build a more responsible life.
