In family life, various dynamics often arise that lead to a breakdown in communication. The family is supposed to be a safe place for sharing stories, providing peace, and offering protection. Over time, however, these once-common practices begin to fade away. Economic needs are also one of the factors affecting family communication. Communication, which should be a source of warmth for a family, has now turned into a void. As a result, there is a lack of interaction within the family. This article employs a qualitative method, in which the research aims to deeply understand meanings, experiences, and phenomena through data in the form of words, narratives, or descriptions rather than numbers. The case discussed in this article involves a family that never eats together at the dining table a family that focuses solely on their individual busyness and has made this a family habit. It can be concluded that family communication plays a very important role in creating harmonious, warm, and meaningful relationships. However, in reality, many families experience a decline in the quality of communication due to busy schedules and changes in habits, such as no longer eating together at the dining table. This leads to a reduction in interaction and closeness among family members.
