Pola Asuh Helikopter: Dampak dan Implikasinya terhadap Stabilitas Keluarga

Abstract

The family serves as a nurturing environment where each member can grow and thrive. It can be compared to a house that requires a harmonious relationship among all its elements. Relationships encompass not only interactions but also the necessary connections that exist between individuals. The dynamics within a family should highlight the importance of recognizing the essence of each member, which should be defined by clear and specific boundaries in its application. Upbringing must be linked to these essences and boundaries to achieve particular objectives. Fundamentally, the aim is to manage and fulfill the responsibilities of each individual within the family. While love is the foundation of effective parenting, an excessive understanding of affection can lead parents to adopt misguided parenting styles, such as helicopter parenting. This study aims to delve deeper into the concept of helicopter parenting, utilizing qualitative research methods and a pastoral case counseling approach. If left unaddressed, this parenting style can disrupt family stability and lead tmental health issues that may affect children in the long run.
