Abstract

The growth of the church is a study that is not easily understood by all Christians. Because it can be divine, pointing to God's work in His church. This article was created using a qualitative method. The data collected was taken from interviews and also supporting factors such as books, journals, and various other literature that supported the preparation of this article. From the data collected, the author observes and explains further in the preparation of this article. The Church as the body of Christ must be a blessing to the world. God's Word makes it clear that we are to be the light and salt of the world. Just as the church was founded on the day of Pentecost, there has been tremendous growth in the church since then. According to what has been interviewed, the Eben Heazer Buntong church itself refers to the synodal presbyterian government system. Eben Heazer Buntong Church is a member of the GMIM synod (Evangelical Church in Minahasa). In church government, of course, it is very necessary to listen and respond to input from the congregation, which is very important in a church. So the process has been regulated in the church system by holding a congregation meeting at least once a year. Even now at the GMIM synod, there is already a SIT (Integrated Information System) in which there is already finance and also programs that will be carried out, so that everyone can access and see. So everything is transparent or open. GMIM Eben Heazer Buntong Church is a member of PGI and the Oikumene. Church government is included in the synodal presbyterian system of government, so all decisions are taken based on a meeting of the congregation or a joint decision. Leaders always communicate first before doing something, communicated first with fellow special servants so that problems do not arise that cause new problems for the church itself.
